Well, I bit the bullet and finally bought myself some new NaNoWriMo gear for the 2014 competition.

My NaNoWriMo t-shirt has arrived in the mail (see right) — it’s the winner t-shirt from the 2012 competition. Hey, don’t judge, I earned it.

Now I can wear my t-shirt boasting of my exploits to NaNo events and let the newcomers tremble. (maniacal laugh, maniacal laugh…)

I seem to have lost my YWP NaNo pencil from last year’s speaking event at the writer’s guild, but I did finally invest in a proper frame for my inspirational NaNoWriMo poster, the print: “Let Your Imagination Rain”. I love the noir mood of the print.

Of course I’ve got my “No Plot? No Problem!” guide handy as well as several other writing reference books I’ve collected over the years from Writers Digest Books.

This year’s NaNo theme is steampunk so my writing space has a few nods to the genre (my gun and my goggles) as well as lots of gorgeous, girly accents. I’m really looking forward to wearing my NaNo t-shirt at some of the events coming up here soon.

Speaking of which, there is a LOT going on in St. Louis for NaNoWriMo this year and at my day job, we’re finally getting involved as a “Come Write In” location. Stayed tuned for details! 🙂

What kind of gear do you have for NaNoWriMo? Got pics? Share below!
